Gallbladder carcinoma is an extremely rare and lethal form of cancer. Due to the low incidence rate, there is a lack of high-quality, adequately powered research. Our study group aims to bridge this gap by collecting data on the treatment (both surgical and non-surgical) and follow-up of patients with gallbladder carcinoma across the globe. Additionally, our group consists of a wide range of prominent clinical specialists whom are actively involved in research as well as the creation of clinical treatment guidelines.
We aim to provide an international picture of the contemporary treatment, outcomes and clinical challenges in the mangement of patients with gallbladder carcinoma. Our data and knowledge will be used to evaluate current clinical practice and ultimately improve outcomes of patient care.
